We had originally called Felgemacher to examine the fireplace after having smoke in the house while using the fireplace. We had recently had the furnace upgraded to a high efficiency, which I believed was causing the smoke in the house. When the Tech came out, he agreed with my analysis, but wanted to scope the chimney just to be safe. He found that we had several fires inside the chimney itself, along with numerous open cracks. We had the chimney lined, which was covered by our insurance. If the Tech had not taken that extra step, it may have led to additional chimney fires, which is a frequent cause of house fires. The extra step taken most likely saved lives. I have used Felgemacher in the past and will certainly use them again!

The Felgemacher team was fantastic for helping me find and install the right fireplace for my home! They provided great advice on which unit to select based on the space and the look that I wanted to achieve. The installers were professional, thorough, and walked me through all the use instructions. The Felgemacher Shop made the process easy from start to finish. I would highly recommend them.

Tom and crew were friendly, timely, and did a great job. Seemed like a fair price but I never got any other estimates. All areas of concern on the project were completed to my satisfaction.
