Custom Chimney Caps & Chase Covers Made “In-House”

Protect Your Flue AND Crown with A Custom Chimney Cap Made “In-House”!

Most chimney’s in Erie County, Monroe County, and surrounding towns throughout the Greater Buffalo and Rochester regions have a standard chimney cap or flue cover. But not all chimneys are the same size or type, so one size that fits all is not the best solution.

Chimney Caps, Flue Covers, and Chase Covers

Our “in-house” Chimline products are custom designed, fabricated, and fitted specifically for your masonry or manufactured chimney with the highest quality materials for long-lasting protection.

We are pleased to announce that The Felgemacher Family now offers Custom Made Chimney Caps! We handcraft these superior caps right here in our Western New York facility.

With locations in Buffalo and Rochester, NY, our Certified Chimney Professionals provide prompt, reliable, and efficient chimney services in communities throughout the Genesee Valley and Northwest New York.

A Custom Chimney Cap That is a Perfect Fit

Our Buffalo, Rochester and Charlotte, NC Masonry and Chimney locations all feature our made "in-house" chimney caps that perfectly fit your chimney like a glove. That means once our trained and certified Felgemacher Masonry + Chimney technician has performed an inspection and measurements for a new chimney cap or chase cover, we can begin fabricating it immediately, making it ready for installation so much faster than most chimney companies that rely on distributors often affected by supply chain issues that can result in days or weeks of delays. This is essential because the longer you have to wait means the structure is vulnerable to moisture intrusion, animal entry, and other issues that can lead to costlier repairs.

A perfect fit for every chimney:

Our CSIA-Certified Chimney Sweeps perform all installations per National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) industry standard guidelines in compliance with federal, local, and state building and safety codes.

Benefits You Can Trust

Our custom chimney caps and chase covers offer many advantages over a standard or one-size-fits-all product.

Higher quality materials: Off-the-shelf or builder's grade chimney products are generally mass-produced in an offshore factory using lesser-grade materials. Then they are shipped to a distributor for installation by a chimney sweep. So, much of the cost of an off-the-shelf product is in the 'shipping and handling' rather than the materials. Since we manufacture in-house, we cut out the middleman, allowing us to build a better product at a competitive price.

Chimney crown protection: Most standard chimney caps don't cover the entire width of the chimney. This allows moisture to accelerate the deterioration of the crown surface, leading to more frequent repairs. Our elegant hip and ridge custom chimney caps fit the entire width of your chimney, covering the crown's masonry surface completely. It provides optimum protection against snowstorms, heavy rain, and summer heat.

Made In New York: We’re very proud of our ability to produce our Chimline "made from scratch" line of chimney products right here in our Western New York facility, located midway between Rochester and Buffalo, NY. We also ship them directly to our Charlotte location, which serves customers in the Carolinas.
