About Felgemacher

We are a third-generation chimney and fireplace company, dedicated to giving you the best quality and craftsmanship in Western New York.

Founded in 1953, we have over 60 years of experience in the chimney industry. Perfecting his craft in Germany, our founder, John Felgemacher, started a small masonry company on his own when he came to the United States. He later passed down his knowledge through two generations, which helped the company grow to where it is today.

John’s two grandsons and granddaughter have now acquired the company and are continuing to run the business with the same craftsmanship and expertise that they learned from their grandfather. Over the past decade, we have expanded our business to include fireplace repairs, chimney sweeping, fireplace liners and gas inserts on top of the chimney masonry work.

We currently look at over 2000 chimneys each year and can give you the confidence that we are educated on every aspect of your chimney. Our owners are certified with the Chimney Safety Institute of America, National Fireplace Institute and National Chimney Sweep Guild, yielding the highest quality of expertise for our customers
