In most cases, both the roofing materials and the workmanship are warrantied. Warranties will be based on several factors that you’ll discuss with your roofing contractor.

It’s a good idea to do that. A reputable roofing contractor is happy to provide a second estimate, and he or she is happy to have you obtain an additional estimate from another contractor.
